NAB was proud to welcome 52,468 attendees to Las Vegas for NAB Show. Our exhibitors, attendees and partners from all corners of the world turned out in force, and the enthusiasm and engagement on the show floor, in sessions and throughout the entire event have been invigorating.

At the NAB Show Welcome on Monday, I spoke to attendees about the state of the broadcast industry. Broadcasters demonstrated our unparalleled, vital local service during the COVID-19 pandemic; now, we ask policymakers to ensure that broadcasters can continue to compete and thrive in today’s environment.

We broadcasters know that our duty to inform and find answers may put us in harm’s way. But we go about our work, day in and day out, because it is critical and needed now more than ever. Because during times of emergency when our communities seek information to keep them safe and informed, we are there. When our audiences feel overwhelmed and seek a reassuring voice, we are there. And during uncertain times, when our listeners and viewers seek a human connection and comfort, we are there to give hope.

The NAB Show Welcome is available on-demand on the NAB Show website, along with highlights including awards, analysis and conversations with industry leaders.

Thank you to the NAB Show community for making this year’s convention an incredible experience as we get back to doing business in person, and I look forward to seeing you at next year’s NAB Show!
