EPISODE 1: CHAPRIORITIES FOR INSTITUTIONALIZING EQUITY IN THE WORKPLACE

How does an employer create and sustain a work environment that promotes and perpetuates justice, equity, diversity and inclusion? It takes time, intention, resources and an interdisciplinary approach. No change happens overnight, and any enduring change requires a plan, cultivation and attention. If your organization is seeking to do better, the first step is to engage your senior leadership team, ask them to evaluate and acknowledge systemic issues that may exist in your organization and then define exactly what your organization prospectively expects of itself and its stakeholders and why. For more information and to learn more about how to prioritize and create equity in the workplace, watch Misti Mukherjee, founder of Extensio Law, in this #LeadershipLabs episode.
